  • Warriors Retreat operates through two complementary entities that work together to support veterans while ensuring long-term sustainability.

    Warriors Retreat Foundation, Inc. (Nonprofit)
The nonprofit oversees veteran services and program operations, funded through federal programs, grants, and donations. It:

    • Provides wraparound services such as mental health counseling, substance abuse recovery support, transportation, vocational rehabilitation, and peer support

    • Partners with veteran service organizations and community providers to deliver coordinated, personalized care

    • Distributes in-kind donations directly to veterans

    • Maintains the ability to secure land or housing assets to support mission-driven growth and future veteran communities

    Warriors Retreat LLP (For-Profit)
The for-profit entity developed and owns the housing for the initial site. It:

    • Secured the land and construction for the first housing development

    • Operates under a transparent lease arrangement with the nonprofit, allowing private investment to support a public good without compromising the mission

    • Earns returns through long-term lease income and responsible asset appreciation

Housing is offered at affordable rates, often supported by HUD and VA housing vouchers, but housing is only one part of the model. The heart of Warriors Retreat is the wraparound support services that help veterans stabilize, rebuild, and thrive.

  • Residents enjoy a community center, all utilities, WiFi, and an extensive TV package with 200+ channels and streaming services like Netflix, Prime, ESPN+, and more—all included in rent.

  • Yes. All homes are inspected and approved by HUD and the VA, ensuring they meet high standards and qualify for housing assistance programs.

  • Beyond housing, we offer a true veteran community—designed to foster camaraderie, connection, and shared experience among residents.

  • Residents benefit from on-site events, access to counseling and workforce development through partnerships, and opportunities to engage in community-based initiatives and programs
